Try Thermage - A High Tech Way To Youthful, Better Looks

Published under Health by writer. No Comments .

Thermage is a new pain free cosmetic procedure with which one can get a younger looking skin. The major merits of this procedure are its cost effectiveness and quick recovery times.

Thermage uses high-energy radio frequency waves to heat the collagen under the skin. The process uses this high temperature to create new collagen to replace the old, causing the skin to tighten and look youthful. This procedure causes no pain whatsoever and at the most, one suffers from a slight irritation for a short period. The treatment does not have any serious unwanted after effects and can be safely used on other body parts.

An important factor to consider before going for Thermage is the cost involved, as the treatment is not covered under most healthcare plans. First, you must find out whether you can get the treatment done in your own city or whether you will need to travel to somewhere else. Second, keep in mind the additional treatment expenses such as charges for out of city travel and accommodation, cost of medicines to be taken after the procedure and clinic charges. Depending on the part of body undergoing treatment, the charges can range from $1000 to $5000 for the entire procedure.

The duration of a Thermage treatment session ranges from 15 minutes to an hour, again depending on how large the treatment area is, and what part of the body is involved. However, the most appealing aspect of the treatment is, that it requires no recovery time. As described at the Thermage website, this is a critical factor to most potential clients, especially when they are looking for smaller improvements than with traditional facelift procedures.

No other current cosmetic procedure matches the convenience of Thermage and therefore, if you are seeking younger looks, it is just the treatment for you. It’s definitely worth considering.

A Few Bits Of Cash Earning Advice

Published under Business by writer. No Comments .

So many people these days are working hard to get their bills paid on time. But if you are like many, you need to find something extra in order to hit your goals in life. With that in mind, here are some tips to help you earn a little extra cash this spring and summer.

But let’s not get all gung hoe yet! We first need to find some extra cash in the current budget. That’s right! You can find extra money by cutting back some of your basic bills now. Look at your cell phone, home telephone and cable bills and see if you can use a lower package that will cost less and free up some monthly cash. This money will be re-invested below.

When you are done cutting, you should look at a way to get outside and earn money. Are you ready to knock some doors?

First of all you need to make up some simple fliers to get business. You want these fliers to look simple and cheap because that is how your cash business will run too. Leave a phone number and contact name and what’s really it beside a list of services you perform. However, the main service we are going to get business with is lawn mowing and trimming. Mowing lawns is easy and everyone in your area needs it! It is also represents recurring cash curing the warmer months of the year.

You also can cash in with this door knocking by going above and beyond and getting some window cleaning jobs from prospects. At some houses, you will find that people will let you mow their grass, and clean their windows. If you are smart, you will get the recurring weekly revenue from the lawn cutting and also come back at least 4 times during the year to clean the windows as well. Can you see how this can pay off?

Finally, you can get the customers to let you clean their rain gutters in the spring and again in the fall. If you can add on this ultimate up-sell, you will be making some good coin. Cleaning gutters is one of those things that people know they need to do, but they never actually do it! You can capitalize on this point of fact!

You should charge about twenty dollars to mow a regular sized lawn. This will make you some cash, but keep you below the price of the professional landscapers. I would charge around thirty dollars to wash the exterior windows of a ranch home and double that for a two story or more.

I’d also charge twenty dollars to clean gutters. Always give a discount to your customers who buy more than just one service from you! Get a few more tips and advice on cash jobs on our blog!

Massive in Vehicle Output – Glimmers of Hope from the After Market

Published under Automobile by writer. No Comments .

Production of passenger vehicles in the UK fell over fifty eight percent in January in comparison to the same month the previous year, latest figures show. In total only 61,404 passenger vehicles were manufactured in January 2009, according to the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders.

SMMT chief executive Paul Everitt said today: “Following extended winter shutdowns, vehicle output continued to fall in January in line with expectations. The extent of the decline highlights the critical need for further Government action to deliver the measures already announced and ease access to finance and credit.”

The figures follow a dramatic reduction in output in recent months. During the first few months of last year passenger vehicle sales and therefore output continued to post healthy growth, and this in consequence means that passenger vehicle production for the whole of last year only fell by 5.7 per cent compared with the previous year, whilst commercial vehicle production fell by 5.9%.

Nonetheless, when taken on its own, the second half of the year showed a completely different picture. Passenger vehicle output tumbled 47.5% in December 2008, when compared with December 2007, whilst Commercial Vehicle production reduced by 56.7%.

The scope of the fall highlights the critical need for further Government action to deliver the measures which they have already announced. There is additionally an absolutely vital need to ease access to finance and credit.

Recently the leaders of the Unite union cautioned the Government that they feared the closure of a car factory was “imminent” as they held private talks with Chancellor Alistair Darling to call for more financial help for thecar industry. The Union stated publicly that a manufacturing facility was in imminent danger of shutdown, and that this event would see the loss of almost a thousand direct jobs and up to 5,000 jobs in the supply & distribution networks.

The Union told Mr Darling that manufacturing wouldn’t recover from the downturn unless “urgent assistance” was given. Many UK factories extended their normal Christmas and New Year shutdowns in 2008/09 and in recent days there have been a series of announcements of job losses and production cutbacks.

In comparison to the manufacturing gloom, certain sections of the Automotive After Market are exhibiting positive signs of growth. John Akin, head of Performance Wiper Blade importers XOPC announced that his company was recording record sales as customers start to be more challenging & do more research before purchasing essential consumables like Wiper Blades. He believes that thefinancial crisis was proving to be a great opportunity for his company, as motorists were more prepared to make purchase decisions based on performance, safety and value for money rather than simply blindly going for the existing established brands. He went on to say that their unique 12 month guarantee on all their Silicone Wiper Blades was proving to be a great attraction in these difficult times.

Chemotherapy Drug Treatment

Published under Health by writer. No Comments .

Cancer refers to the uncontrolled growth of cells combined with malignant behavior – invasion and metastasis. The cause for this disease is believed to be the interaction of environmental toxins and the genetic susceptibility. Basically, the principle that makes a chemotherapy drug functional is the impairment of the cellular division of tissues with a fast growth rate. The fact that these drugs destroy cells leads to their being named cytotoxic.

Among the other uses of the chemotherapy drug and cytostatic chemotherapy agents there are the treatment of autoimmune diseases (multiple sclerosis, rheumatoid arthritis) and the suppression of transplant rejections. More modern cancer treatments known as targeted therapy use anti-cancer medication that attacks only the abnormal proteins in cancer cells.

The category of inhibitors comes next. The topoisomerase inhibitors separate and copy the DNA strands efficiently treating leukemia. The mitotic inhibitors are more natural-based derived from plants and they help in preventing enzymes from producing proteins required in cell reproduction. However, there is one huge risk that patients take when following such a treatment: these chemotherapy drugs could cause peripheral nerve damage to count just one the health threats you may fear.

Health Care

These ones target a molecular abnormality in particular types of cancer such as chronic myelogenous leukemia or gastrointestinal stromal tumors. More special chemotherapy drug options only change the behavior of the tumor cells without affecting other tissues. From these so-called adjuvant therapies, the hormone treatment will be commonly used.

All in all, side effects of chemotherapy are a challenge and doctors are still trying to reduce their number. Even if there may be solutions for a certain problem, lots of them still remain open to research. The same goes for hair loss; the cold cap may have the wanted effect of doing away with alopecia only in the case of certain drugs, but it may not work with some other ones.

A Whole Lot Of Things To Get Done This Spring

Published under Home by writer. No Comments .

It is at this point of the year when I feel that the cold weather seems to slow me down. If only I could, I would rather choose to just stay home and curl up until spring time. However, very soon, the snow and ice will leave us and the time to go outside and work on the lawn and landscape will come again. Given that, why don’t we set a plan? Do you just need to call exterminators in Chicago instead?

As early as now, we can decide as to which outdoor chores can be possibly done once the sun comes out again. We can also start thinking or eyeing professionals whom we can ask to take care of our homes.

Below are some outdoor tasks which may want to consider:

Lawn Cutting

Cutting your own grass can give you the shear of joy of just being “outdoor.” Nothing can beat the smell of freshly cut green grass on a Saturday morning. For now, you may want to consider checking on your mower and tuning it up. Make sure that you change the oil, sharpen the blade and check on the spark plug.

If you are thinking of hiring someone, make sure that you call your company now and make sure that they have your name on their reservation list.

Lawn Fertilizing

Who doesn’t want a freshly-mowed lawn every week? A weed-free and green lawn never fail to bring instant joy to the homeowner. This kind of lawn can be easily achieved if you thicken the turf, lock out the weeds and make your lawn greener. If you have plans of doing the lawn treatments yourself, it’s time you start thinking of what products to consider.

However, if you want to get a pro lawn spraying service, you better get yourself signed up now for a surefire reservation once the weather breaks. We all hate weeds or crab grass taking over our beautiful lawns just because of procastination. Your hired lawn service will help you tailor a program which suits your lawn’s urgent needs.

Pest Control

Pest control is something that I have never tried on my own. Personally, I think that calling an exterminator is very necessary especially in my area where mice remain a constant problem. I have always opted for Terminix because they are always equipped to handle anything and everything that crops up.

I also seek for their service when I want treatment inside my home at least once a year to keep spiders out. Based on my experience, I have always gotten good results and so I never hesitate to sign my contract early and every season. You can also visit our site to get more info on pest control in Illinois.

These activities are only few of the considerations for the coming spring. It can never be too early to start planning on your outdoor maintenance so start making calls now and believe me, you’d be so thankful that you did.

TFP World Exposed
Growth through franchising, management services and franchise business ,upside-down franchising - just some of the phrases used by TFP Worldto describe what they claim todo. If you’re considering getting involved with TFP World with one of the positions they’re advertising which “require investment”, then you need to look into their background a little deeper . TFP World is the successor to The Franchise Group which was wound up by the British High Court in June 2008 owing Partners and suppliers huge sums of money.

TFP World, is to all intents and purposeswhat used to be The Franchise Group.

The Franchise Group recruited “Partners” to come and work within their so called franchise consultancy. In return for an upfront investment - anywhere between £30,000 and £60,000 - The Franchise Group offered the ability to earn a six figure income. The justification for the investment was to fund their marketing efforts used to attract clients whose businesses were to be “franchised” using the so called upside-down franchising system. Problem was, very little was invested in marketing although the Partner fees - anywhere between £30,000 and £60,000 - represented the real revenue for The Franchise Group Directors. Some 60 Partners were recruited, lured by the promise of big incomes and big marketing support.

The Franchise Group was wound up by the High Court in June 2008 and is subject to a forensic investigation into its activities by the appointed liquidator. The Franchise Group was also subject to an investigation by Government authorities .All those who invested, lost their money in entirety. Their initial investment and monies owed for work carried out. This was devastating for the Partners, many lost homes and suffered ill health as a result of getting involved with these people.TFP World, a company registered off shore , is effectively a reworked version of the The Franchise Group. Same upside-down franchising system, same Partner recruitment (investment required), and same Les Dyson and Jeff Smith .

A Business in Trouble or an Elaborate Scam?

In September 2007 The Franchise Group announced that it was to be taken over by a consortium led byLes Dyson (CEO) and Jeff Smith (Chairman). To this day it is not yet publicly known what the details of this deal were although it was reported that the group was bought for £9.7m and that the company was to be floated on the Canadian stock market .

The floatation never happened and the exchange of monies is a complete mystery. What is known however is that shortly after the so called takeover. Creiditors and Partners stopped getting paid. By Christmas of 2007, some Partners were desperate. Many wanted out and their investments returned but despite continued assurancesthat payments would be made and investments refunded, they were never forthcoming.

The company attempted a CVA (company voluntary arrangement) but this was blocked by the creditors and ultimately the business was wound up. To this day no onehas received a penny of what they are still owed. And so it goes that following the demise of The Franchise Group, Les Dyson and Jeff Smith reappear as TFP World .

Small Retail Companies are Hit Harder by The Economy

Published under Business by writer. No Comments .

In today’s economic times, there is a lot of uncertainty. The average person doesn’t seem to know what is going on or how long their current state of affairs is going to last. The opposite side of this equation, though, is the retail industry. The retail industry has been damaged by the current economic state, and consumer’s reaction to it, as well. Certain types of retail are faring better than others, but no one can argue that operating a retail small business, such as a main street hardware store or shoe store, is more difficult than ever.

A good number of consumers are cutting back at this time. With job security a widespread problem and little consumer confidence, numerous people are learning to do without. In a shoe store, this means a decrease in sales because consumers aren’t spending as much money on extra Merrell sandals. When people cut out the frivolous spending for things such as new Merrell shoes for a special occasion or even just getting new shoes for the fun of it, then retail profits can plunge considerably.

In addition to spending cutbacks, consumers are also searching for ways to spend sensibly. Second-hand shops are becoming increasingly popular because of the value and price. Shoe stores are more susceptible to this trend because of their inability to compete with the enormously low prices of second hand shoes. The bright side of this dynamic is that while trying to spend conservatively, most consumers will “splurge” some and buy things new that are of better quality and that will last. This, coupled with the increased competition during the past decade from internet-based retailers, has forced the closure of countless small businesses across the country.

When a retail store like a shoe store is affected by consumers cutting back or shopping elsewhere, they are forced to make changes they don’t want to make. Remember that we are talking about retail small business, where the owner has built their business on their own. When they lose part of their income due to economic fall-outs, they may have to let some of their employees go. This can be hard because generally the owners work directly with the employees. If the business has expanded to several places, then they may have to close down a store. What’s more, they are losing hard workers and friends and in turn, inadvertently adding to the fear consumers have over job stability. It is a viscious cycle that many retail small businesses find themselves in today.
