It seems like today, everyone is getting Botox injections to combat wrinkles and lines on the face. What was once the privilege of the Hollywood elite has now become commonplace with women even have so-called Botox parties where they line up for glasses of wine and injections.

Before you decide to leap into a drastic measure like Botox, try considering natural skin care tips that are sure to help you fight against wrinkles, blemishes, lines, and any other type of skin problems. If you know what youre doing and you know what kind of products to use, you are sure to be successful.

The first thing you should know is that beautiful skin comes from the inside. If you eat the right foods, get plenty of exercise, and keep your body hydrated half the battle is won. Why is this so important?

All of these things are important because what you eat is definitely a factor in what kind of skin you have. If you eat a lot of grease and fat, you will more than likely have oily skin that will cause breakouts.

Water is able to allow the body to hydrate the skin as well as other parts of your body such as the muscles and organs. If you do not consume enough water daily, your skin will not receive the hydration it needs. Dehydration is one of the main causes or wrinkles and lines in the skin. Even if you do all of the other parts of natural skin care perfectly, taking in not enough water will completely ruin it.

If you are ready to proceed to the next step in natural skin care, facial masks are next. Making these masks out of all natural ingredients, such as avocado, honey, green teas, and oatmeal is easy. Simply combine any of the above with yogurt to make a past that you apply to your face. Twenty minutes should be plenty of time before you wash your face and feel the difference.

These ingredients are good for natural skin care because of course you’re not exposing your skin to chemicals or preservatives that you would normally get from using commercial products. They won’t irritate your skin the way these products will and will nourish and moisturize it as well.

If you have sensitive skin, deciding to use natural skin care is probably one of the best decisions you will ever make. Your skin is not exposed to harsh ingredients that will worsen the shape of your skin.

How Do You Use a Feng Shui Fish Tank?

Fish are an important part of Chinese and Asian culture. No doubt youve seen many pieces of Chinese and Asian artwork that include goldfish or koi, and of course there are Asian water gardens that one can incorporate into ones own home that include these beautiful creatures.

When you are using the science and art of feng shui, you might wonder how you can use a feng shui fish tank in your own home. How should you introduce it and where should you put it? Are there areas where it should not be kept?

A True Feng Shui Fish Tank is Not Always Big

A lot of people think wrongly that when you are talking about a feng shui fish tank, you are talking about a huge aquarium which will take up half your living room. This is untrue. The basic feng shui principles encourage simplicity and balance and trying to fit a massive tank into a tiny apartment is only going to make the room feel cluttered which, again, is very anti-feng shui. You should choose a tank which is going to look good in your house and not be too big.

Instead, for a small space, a small feng shui aquarium is just fine, especially when it’s perfectly balanced to the room itself. In addition, a feng shui fish tank doesn’t even need to be an aquarium, necessarily. A simple small fishbowl with just a goldfish or two will do the job nicely as long as it’s properly displayed and maintained.

This is probably good news to those who are on a budget and dont want to spend the hundreds of dollars necessary to purchase a large aquarium and then stock and maintain it.

Where to Put a Feng Shui Fish Tank

The five elements of wood, fire, water, earth and metal are the basic components of feng shui. These are elements that are meant to complement each other, and neither should overpower a room or a particular area to the detriment of any other. This is where a feng shui fish tank can be especially useful. With a smaller tank or fishbowl, you’ll be accenting the room.

If your room consists of mostly browns or tans, the water element from the fishtank will balance it out. Bright colored fish are the best to use, perhaps orange or yellow, and they will offset warm earth tones.

It is a bad idea for your feng shui fish tank to have to compete with a stronger element. If you have a large fireplace in your family room, you shouldn’t have a large aquarium in the same room. These elements are both strong and will conflict with one another, resulting in a lack of harmony and balance. In this case, you can either choose a smaller fish tank or place a large aquarium in another room where it is not competing against anything.

Make sure that you place your fish bowl somewhere it can complement the room and the environment in it. This will ensure your feng shui fish tank is used to its best advantage.

Cleansing Your Skin ” FAQs

With all of the time Ive put into educating myself and others about body cleansing its almost unthinkable that I have never taken the time to assemble a Q&A style article in the topic of skin cleansing. I spend a few hours every day responding to email which is related to the topic of skin cleansing and all of the benefits that come with it.

I find it humbling that so many people trust me and what I have to say about all the research Ive done on this subject. I just love helping others to find a way that they can look better and be more secure with their looks as well. You may still see some breakouts in the beginning, but you shouldnt worry about this. The longer you work on the cleansing, youll see your skin looking better and better as the days go by as you get rid of these toxins.

How Long Before My Skin Looks Beautiful?- This is a question I’ve wrestled with for quite some time because each individual is different. Even though we are made up of the same inner organs, our bodies process things at different rates so there are many variables to include. I can’t give you an exact time, but after a week of doing it myself, my skin was less oily and looked much healthier.

What Happens If I Skip Days In Between?- Okay, this is really important so if you take one thing away from this article it’s this answer. In order to achieve the results you want, it’s important to stick to the routine. This is the hardest task, but if you set aside the time to do this everyday, the positive affects will come much quicker.

Is Something Like This Expensive?- When it comes to body cleansing and its benefits for your skin and all around health, this is perhaps not quite the right question to ask. Let me answer that question with another question: What is your health worth? Whether or not it is expensive depends on the individual.

If you are thinking about remodeling your home, you might be interested to know how feng shui can work together with decorating for great results and wondering if you can introduce some feng shui principles into your home.

You might be surprised to learn that decorating and feng shui blend not only art, but also a little bit of science. There aren’t any strict rules about how apply feng shui to your life. Color does actually affect our moods. Warm colors can promote feelings of relaxation and tranquility. Bold, bright colors can be a great pick-me-up and promote vitality. Soft colors can be calming whereas vibrant shades can make you feel in control and full of energy.

Additionally, the entryway to ones home and to every room in your house also does much to set a mood or tone. This is like the first impression you get when you meet someone, and that first impression can set the entire tone for the rest of your relationship with them.

When you apply principles of decorating and feng shui, be sure to think about this type of first impression. You might want to stand in the doorway and honestly evaluate how you feel. Decide what your impression of the room’s atmosphere is, and how you feel immediately upon looking at the room. Decide whether the room and your home as a whole feel inviting, depressing, enlivening or peaceful.

By applying these basic principles of decorating and feng shui, you can begin to experience both the art and science of this ancient practice.

Ah ” the internet. Anyone can go online and for instance, find something that grabs their attention and try it for themselves. They can then in turn pass along the story of their experience to others. This way you can learn a lot about something without having to spend the time investigating it personally. At first I was of course skeptical. I thought, lets see whether or not this system really cures acne or just treats the symptoms only to have them come back in a few days time. After all, body cleansing is usually an extended process. As such, curing something like acne in only three days sounded a little far fetched to me.

One thing that I love the most about using the internet is that I can try something that looks great and then let others know how it worked for me. Many modern day designers and engineers are actually turning their attention to the ancient art of feng shui, which encourages the proper placement of buildings, furniture, and accessories in order to encourage the most positive energy possible in ones life. But why would those living now, in our age of science and reason, be interested in something thats as old as feng shui?

Its important to note that feng shui is not just art, although it can be called that. There are no hard and fast rules about many of the elements of feng shui, just like any other medium, so there is a lot of room for interpretation ” as there is in art.

However, there are also a lot of scientific principles involved in this practice as well. For example, interior rooms are encouraged to be as clutter-free as possible so as to not block the natural flow of energy. Designers and interior decorators always encourage their clients to keep their room neat and orderly, as clutter can bring about feelings of depression, frustration, and can stifle ones creativity.

In Feng Shui, a lot of stress is given on the right color use. For example, it is said that you should use bright colors such orange and yellow in rooms where maximum energy is required (kitchen and dining room can be example). Warmer colors like browns and greens can be uses in places of comfort like the bedroom and the loving room, where you need to feel cozy and protected.

Scientific studies have shown that color does in fact affect your mood. Bright colors make you feel energized, with darker colors having the opposite effect. While there has not been extensive research done on feng shui as such, it does use many principles which science has independently proven. It seems that science is just now catching up with this ancient art in many ways!

Feng Shui is finding more acceptance amongst people these days since everyone wants maximum energy in their lives. Most people multi-task, are quite busy in their lives and hence are quite stressed out. Most people want something that can add a zing to their lives and give them a zest for living. Nowadays, with its soaring popularity Feng Shui is a hot choice to brighten up your life and add a spring in your step.

When all is said and done, Feng Shui has no harmful side effects. After all, what side effect can cleaning your clutter or trying a different shade of paint on the wall have? It can only be happiness! Hence there is no harm in trying out Feng Shui.

So it seems that feng shui is here to stay, as they say. This ancient art and science has found its way into our modern lives in a major way.
