So You’ve Got A Date…what Next?

Now that you’ve gotten yourself a date, next you have to decide where you want to take your date for that ever important first date. No matter the place youave decided, you want to try and convey two things. First, you’ll want to make sure that your date is comfortable. You want them to relax so that you can really get to know them without having the awkwardness that first dates can often have. Secondly, you want to ensure that the place you take your special someone is a place that shows you want to have fun. When deciding on location, location really is the keyword. You don’t want to go somewhere too secluded that forces two people who don’t know each other very well to make conversation. It should come naturally. On the other hand, it is important to stay out of locations that are overly crowded and impossible to find a quiet spot to get to know one another.

If you met your date on a dating site, you want to make sure of two things. The first is that you make sure that your dating destination makes you feel comfortable. The second thing of course is that your date should feel comfortable. If you donat know the person very well, you may want to have the date during the day. If youare a man dating a woman, youall want to put her at ease. If youare a woman dating a man, a date during daylight hours will help put you at ease.

Now that we’ve established that the location should be comfortable, we’ll move on to some great places that can help to lubricate conversation, making the whole date run smoothly. Though restaurants are definitely to be considered for a first date location, they should not be the sole consideration. A good date has variety, because doing a variety of activities helps to spark a variety of conversation. In addition to a restaurant, maybe you and your date could visit a carnival if one is in town. Or some other outdoor activity, such as miniature golf.

As mentioned earlier, be sure that the restaurant you choose is not an overly crowed sea of people that must be navigated through, and make certain that the place is not desolate. A good dating environment is a lively one that has places where you can get to know one another in addition to the security of having others around.

After your great dinner you’ve decided that the movies would be an excellent compliment to your date. Some key things to remember in picking a movie, is that it should be one that is neutral to both of you. Try not to go to a horror movie that is too gory, or an R-rated movie that is too sexually suggestive. Pick something with humor in it, so that it is light-hearted and leaves you both feeling happy and satisfied.

An important thing to include on your first date is conversation. There should be no shortage of talking on your date. After all you are here to get to know one another, and talking is just about the only way to do that. A good conversation activity would be a simple walk. Browse through shops with your date, or stroll through a pretty park and enjoy people watching and scenery. Different visual stimulation will spark different thoughts in your head and make conversation flow easier.

Now that youave decided on location, youall want to think about being romantic. On a first date you should be romantic, but not so much that you run off your date before you get a chance to take him or her out. Try bringing a bouquet of flowers or box of chocolates. Make it simple and innocent. Remember, youare going for comfort, and one sure fire way to make someone uncomfortable on a first date is to be suggestive or spend lots of money on pretentious gifts that seem to be saying that their affection is for sale. Always remember that your actions on your first date should be somewhat tame.

When on your first date the main goal is really to make it special. Do something light-hearted and out of the ordinary. Make it simple, and make conversation the focal point. Donat make your conversations about your failed past, but be positive and keep conversation on positives subjects. Most importantly enjoy yourselves and hopefully youall find a great connection that lasts.

You’ve just gotten a new credit card with an unbelievable limit and you’re excited. But wait a minute. Don’t rush to the mall for that fantasy shopping spree just yet. You should learn a few important tips and recommendations so you can avoid a major credit meltdown later on.

Is your new credit card for “emergency use only”? If that’s the goal, it’s necessary for you to define what type of situation will be considered an “emergency.” Perhaps it’s a leaking pipe flooding the basement. Or it could be the Annual Shoe Blowout at the Super Shoe Warehouse. No matter what, you should decide on the card’s purpose and commit to it.

Maybe you applied for a new credit card to improve your credit rating, which is a great idea if you’re young and planning to make a major purchase, like a home, someday. If so, remember to use your card in a way that helps your efforts, rather than hurting them.

Paying your entire balance on time each month is an excellent way to maintain a strong credit rating. This will demonstrate that you are financial responsible. It will also help you avoid those high interest fees. To avoid accumulating debt, write a budget and stay committed to it. Only spend what you can afford to pay off, without having to rely on your savings to do so.

Some people feel the need to check their credit report and score on a monthly, weekly, or even daily basis. Although it’s wise to monitor your record to detect any fraudulent activity, make sure you do it responsibly. It is best to check through one of the three major credit bureaus. You can actually hurt your credit record if you repeatedly check through a credit lender. Therefore, you should avoid doing that unless you’re actively applying for credit.

A common credit mistake is using credit cards, instead of savings, to pay the bills on a routine basis. This mistake leads to hefty, long-term debt. Avoid it like the plague. Your purpose in maintaining a savings fund is to have a nest egg for the future, or something to fall back on during economic hardships.

Credit cards are convenient for shopping anywhere around the world. Thanks to the internet, we have a new global shopping mall, where it’s easier than ever to find almost anything and have it delivered right to your door. To avoid fraud, scams, and identity theft, make sure that the site from you’re ordering from is secure when using your card online. These incidents can cause permanent, irreparable damage to your credit.

Once you’ve learned how to use your credit card wisely, you’ll be able to maintain a good credit score and stay out of debt easily. Now you’re ready to get out there and start buying!
