Hoodoba Hoodia Diet Pills Review

I was searching online for hoodia diet pills when I came across Hoodoba hoodia diet pills. Knowing how many of the manufacturers of hoodia supplements try to fool consumers into buying hoodia products that are not authentic, I immediately searched their site looking for C.I.T.E.S. certificates and lab test results. These are the two things that tell me whether a hoodia product is pure. Surprisingly, the Hoodoba had both! The pills are authentic!

The next step I took was to find out if the Hoodoba hoodia diet pills were packed full of other ingredients besides hoodia. A lot of companies will put other ingredients in their capsules along with their hoodia. I was surprised to see that Hoodoba only contained hoodia. It didn’t have any additives, fillers or stimulants in their capsules. Very impressive!

I was really surprised to find that Hoodoba uses veggie capsules instead of gelatin capsules. This is good news to someone who has digestive problems and who doesn’t want to bother with pulling apart gelatin capsules. Hoodoba uses veggie caps for all of their hoodia diet pills.

I will honestly say that I was a bit turned-off by the Hoodoba site. It was a very professional site, but it has the typical sales pitch telling you how much weight you can lose with their supplement. You may or may not achieve the results they hype, but you need to know that you will need to eat sensibly and exercise to achieve your long term weight loss goals. There is no magic pill.

Despite that one negative, I will report that Hoodoba hoodia diet pills are economically priced and consumers have a choice of purchasing 400mg or 750mg capsules. Either product will work. Yet, I feel that the better financial deal is the 750mg capsules. A bottle of these will last longer because individuals won’t have to take as many.

The company’s 30-day money back guarantee on unopened bottles is very impressive. There are a minority of people who unfortunately don’t have results with hoodia of any kind. So, if you find you fall into the minority, you can always return your bottles for a refund.

I couldn’t find any negatives about the Hoodoba hoodia diet pills to report. The company prices their hoodia pills affordably, they are definitely authentic and powerful, and the 30 day money back guarantee should alleviate any fears about the product. I give it two thumbs up.

Desert Burn Hoodia: The Fast Way to Weight Loss

When I hear claims that someone has lost upwards of 50 pounds in six months using a hoodia diet pill, I have to check it out. There are so many wild claims surrounding hoodia supplements these days that I’ve learned I can’t believe everything I hear. So, when I heard about Desert Burn hoodia and the success people are reporting on it, I wanted to find out if it was true. So many hoodia products are fakes, or they don’t have enough authentic hoodia in them to work for people. The good news is Desert Burn is the real thing and it does work.

The reason Desert Burn works is the company that manufacturers it doesn’t take any short cuts. It gets raw hoodia gordonii from South Africa, uses the part of the plant that works as an appetite suppressant, and they pack their capsules with 100% authentic hoodia. There are no stimulants or fillers. It’s that simple.

The fact that the Desert Burn website posts independent lab tests results that are randomly done on their hoodia capsules says a lot to me. Consumers can see for themselves what is in the capsules-and it is 100% hoodia gordonii. Unlike other companies, the manufactures of Desert Burn don’t have to use a lot of ploys or outrageous claims to keep their customers coming back. There is nothing to hide because Desert Burn speaks for itself. People that use it consistently are reaching their weight loss goals in just a few months.

There are a lot of hoodia products around that have outrageous claims attached to them and after taking the products, people are disappointed. This is because a lot of these pills don’t have enough hoodia in them to work, or they are simply fakes. Consumers need to understand that people generally need between 2,250mg to 3,000mg daily to control their appetites. A lot of pills on the market have less than 400mg of hoodia in them. But, that’s where Desert Burn is different. Their capsules have 750mg of hoodia gordonii in them. This means the pills are very powerful and you don’t have to take as many. This means your purchase will last longer. Given the fact that Desert Burn is also one of the more economical authentic hoodia products I’ve found, I give it two thumbs up.

As with anything in life, there will be things you don’t like. I was disappointed that the manufacturer of Desert Burn doesn’t offer vegetable capsules. Yet, people who have adverse reactions to gelatin capsules can still use the product. They will just need to pull the capsules apart and mix the hoodia into some liquid. On the positive side, individuals always have the option of purchasing Desert Burn’s liquid hoodia product or their hoodia tea and coffee products.

Desert Burn is a small company, their representatives are very friendly and their straightforward and honest approach is very refreshing. I will say that their website is not as professional as I had hoped. But, that is fixable and has no bearing on their product-unless you are the kind of person who clicks away from a site that is somewhat disorganized or who is turned off by sites that have music playing automatically! If that’s you, Desert Burn may lose a few sales until they improve their site.

To sum it up, I recommend Desert Burn hoodia. It passed my meticulous tests and it’s a powerful hoodia diet pill. Anyone looking to lose weight can confidently purchase Desert Burn because it’s authentic and it works.

What You Should Know About the Hoodia 60 Minutes and BBC Reports

Published under Health by Reagan Miers. No Comments .

I do a lot of research and writing on hoodia supplements. I realized that I haven’t written about the hoodia 60 minutes and BBC reports. I feel it’s important to bring these reports up because they are being twisted around on many websites. The claim that 60 minutes and the BBC endorsed a specific brand of hoodia diet pills is bogus. Don’t believe the lie.

Visit almost any website that is selling or promoting hoodia supplements and you’ll likely see the words prominently displayed, “As featured on” or “Endorsed by,” followed by the CBS 60 Minutes logo and the BBC logo. What you are led to believe is that the hoodia diet pill being promoted was featured or endorsed by these two media programs. Not only was a specific hoodia supplement not featured or endorsed by 60 minutes or the BBC, but no hoodia diet pill was tested or endorsed at all!

60 minutes did do a hoodia story on November 21, 2004. Reporter, Leslie Stahl, went to the Kalahari Desert in South Africa to see the hoodia gordonii plant growing in the wild. She wanted to eat a small piece of it herself to see if it affected her appetite. After eating the plant, Stahl reported the hoodia gordonii plant worked to suppress her appetite and she wasn’t hungry the entire day.

Leslie Stahl said nothing else about hoodia. She, and 60 Minutes, did not mention any specific brands of hoodia supplements, let alone endorse one. However, unless you read the show’s transcripts or watched it yourself when it aired on CBS, you wouldn’t know this. Hoodia sellers have taken the 60 Minutes show and twisted the facts around in an attempt to sell more of their hoodia supplements.

In regards to the BBC, they did a documentary on hoodia in 2003. BBC correspondent, Tom Mangold, also took a trip to the Kalahari Desert to test the hoodia gordonii plant on his own appetite. Mangold and his camera man both took a small piece of the hoodia plant and ate it. They both reported they, “did not even think about food” for the remainder of the day. What was even more amazing about their report was they said they weren’t hungry for breakfast the following day and their appetite at lunch was still virtually nonexistent.

Just like the hoodia 60 Minutes report, Mangold’s BBC report did not involve the testing of any hoodia products and it did not endorse a particular hoodia diet pill. The reports by Stahl and Mangold were on the plant itself, not supplements. Neither tried a hoodia product or mentioned a specific brand of hoodia supplement.

The next time you visit a website promoting or selling a hoodia supplement that claims their product was featured or endorsed by 60 Minutes and the BBC, immediately click to another website. Any company that is willing to misrepresent a media story so that it works to their advantage so they can sell more of their products obviously isn’t honest. If they aren’t willing to be honest about something as simple as the media coverage of hoodia on 60 Minutes and the BBC, how honest do you really think they are about the quality and authenticity of the product they are selling?

The CITES Certificate: One Key to Finding Pure Hoodia Gordonii

Published under Health by Reagan Miers. No Comments .

by Reagan Miers

Anyone who has considered hoodia diet pills and has done any research on them has read about the importance of looking for a CITES certificate to identify authentic hoodia gordonii. I often wonder if people even understand what the certificate is and why it so important to look for one. If you have a basic understanding of what a CITES certificate is and what its role is within the hoodia trade, you’ll know why looking for one is so important when trying to find authentic hoodia gordonii.

The hoodia gordonii plant is a protected species due to its limited supply and high demand. It is only found in South Africa and until recent years, was only grown wild. Due to the increasing popularity for hoodia gordonii, farming began in an attempt to keep up with skyrocketing demand. In order to protect the hoodia plant and the industry as a whole, including the San people who have a vested interest in their native crop, the South African government implemented controls, licenses, and regulations for the harvesting and exportation of hoodia gordonii.

One of the basic regulations put in place for the endangered hoodia gordonii is the implementation of the CITES certificate. CITES stands for the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora. This is basically an agreement between governments that ensures that international trade of the plant doesn’t threaten its survival. There are other regulations and documents that are required, too, but for the sake of this article I am only going to discuss the CITES certificate.

In order for a company to legally export hoodia gordonii from South Africa, an export permit from CITES must be obtained. Every shipment exported from South Africa must be accompanied by a CITES permit. These permits expire in six months, but the expiration period only pertains to the actual shipment of hoodia gordonii out of South Africa. In other words, a supplier has six months from the time they are issued a CITES permit to actually ship the hoodia gordonii out of South Africa. If they don’t and the shipment of hoodia sits in the port, the supplier must reapply for a new permit.

A lot of people are confused about the dates on these CITES permits. Some people think if they are viewing a CITES permit and the date is old, this automatically means something underhanded or shady is going on with a company. All it really means is the expiration date for exportation has passed.

Suppose a supplier exports several thousand kilograms of hoodia on one permit, and that inventory of hoodia gordonii doesn’t actually sell out for eight or nine months. The original CITES permit, along with the original issue date shown on the permit, will always be attached to that inventory. Even though the date on the CITES permit will be older than six months, that CITES permit is still valid and still provides proof that the hoodia gordonii used is authentic. Keep that in mind as you are looking at CITES certificates from companies you are considering buying from. An older date doesn’t necessarily mean the CITES permit is invalid and the hoodia gordonii used isn’t real.

Something that is important for you to know is a CITES certificate may have a different company’s name on it than the company you are purchasing the hoodia products from. This means you may go to the XYZ Company to purchase hoodia supplements and upon viewing their CITES certificate you see the supplier’s name is ABC Company. The names on the CITES permits may not always match up.

Supplement companies get their hoodia from supply companies. Suppliers are the companies that actually go in, obtain the CITES permits and export the hoodia gordonii out of South Africa. The country is selective on giving out CITES permits and they limit the number of exports. It only makes sense that supplement companies would use a supplier to obtain their hoodia gordonii. That is why you may see a name other that the company you are purchasing your products from listed on the CITES permit.

Finally, just because a CITES certificate is displayed on a website doesn’t mean the company uses as much authentic hoodia gordonii as they claim. Hoodia products are classified as supplements so they are not regulated. As a result, companies can make claims that aren’t necessarily true. For example, you may be interested in a hoodia diet pill that contains 500mg of hoodia gordonii per capsule. You go to the company’s website and sure enough, they display a CITES permit so you immediately think the product is authentic.

The CITES permit doesn’t regulate what happens to the plant once it’s exported. The CITES certificate only serves as a sign that pure hoodia gordonii plants were exported from South Africa. A supplement company can do whatever they want with it once it is in their possession. They may even claim to be packaging 500mg of hoodia gordonii into their capsules when they really may not be.

I hope you now understand the importance of CITES certificates. Understanding what they are, and what they aren’t, should help you when you go to purchase pure hoodia gordonii.

What You Should Know About Those Free Hoodia Trials

by Reagan Miers

Who doesn’t like free stuff? I know the popularity of free hoodia samples is very tempting to people. After all, hoodia is fast becoming one of the top weight loss supplements available. Who wouldn’t want a free sample of an all natural weight loss supplement that has virtually no side effects?

There are so many companies making hoodia that it’s only a given that many of them would offer free hoodia samples to consumers. They hope people will like their samples so much that they will come back to them and make future purchases. It sounds like a win-win deal for both consumers and companies.

Yet, there is an ugly side to free hoodia samples that you need to know about. With some people reporting that nearly 80% of the hoodia being sold are actually fakes, trying these products probably won’t do you any good! Only hoodia products that are made with authentic hoodia gordonii work to suppress the appetite. Trying free samples of an inferior or fake product can make you believe that all hoodia doesn’t work - and that’s not true.

Before you agree to receive free hoodia samples from a company, make sure the hoodia they are offering you is authentic and not fake. The two easiest ways to identify real hoodia from fake hoodia is to view the company’s CITES certificates and their lab test results which were completed through an independent lab.

CITES is a certificate that is required by all companies who import and sell authentic hoodia gordonii. If a company doesn’t obtain one, they can’t legally import and sell hoodia. Since fake hoodia is so prevalent, companies that sell real hoodia gordonii want to make sure that the consumers know that what they are selling is authentic. To do that, they will have their products randomly tested on a regular basis by independent labs for authenticity.

Companies that are on the up-and-up will display their certificates and lab test results. It is there way of assuring consumers that they are using authentic hoodia in their products. If you find yourself on a website and you can’t locate a CITES certificates or lab test results, you can be guaranteed they are not dealing in authentic hoodia. Agreeing to receive free hoodia samples from them is a bad idea.

You should know that most companies will have you pay the shipping and handling on any free samples they send you. Also, sometimes agreeing for free hoodia samples may mean you are agreeing to be autoshipped more products at full price down the road.

When you are signed up in an autoship program, a company may ship you a 30 or 60 day supply of their hoodia every month or so. These programs can be cost effective and convenient if you are dealing with a company that is producing authentic hoodia gordonii supplements.

The key with these free hoodia trials is knowing how easy it is to cancel the trial and to prevent being enrolled in the autoship program if you don’t like the product (or to cancel the autoship program once you’re enrolled in it). Most of these offers would have you believe it’s easy to cancel. Unfortunately, that’s not usually the case.

There are many people who have had their credit ruined simply because they accepted some free hoodia samples. They were unable to cancel their trials because they couldn’t get in touch with representatives of the company, or their requests to cancel were ignored. But, charges were made like clockwork to their credit cards for the hoodia they were automatically being shipped.

Be smart before you accept any free hoodia samples. Make sure you have read all the information involved in receiving the samples. Make sure you have a telephone number for the company. Before you agree to the samples, call the number and see if there is a person on the other end who can answer your questions about the free hoodia trial. Talking with someone can help you determine if the company is on the up-and-up.

If you are given an email address, you can do the same. Send an email to see if you get a response. Do they respond in a timely fashion and do they answer all your questions? If you can’t get through to a live person or if they don’t respond to your emails, then don’t accept the free hoodia trial!

These free hoodia trials can be a smart way to try hoodia without spending a lot of money, but you need to be careful before you hand over your credit card information. By following these simple guidelines you’ll be able to find legitimate free hoodia samples that won’t just empty your wallet!
